Underline in the APBT

I tried to find information on the correct underline in the APBT, but it is difficult to come by, which may be the cause for misinformation. The exact part I would like to discuss in the underline is the brisket.

I have seen some dogs whos brisket is not correct. In these dogs it appears as a greyhound or whippet, with drastic tuck too soon before the rib cage ends. I remember reading somewhere, can't remember right now where, that the brisket should be equal in length to...

I have a friend looking for a 1 to 4 yr old female pit bull is spayed already that is even better.
doesn't need papers.
her husband is in a wheel chair and they are looking for a dog on the gentle side.
they have a 14 yr old male pit bull now.

she has check the ASPCA near her but found nothing that meets their needs.

She is a SUPER HOME.....

Here are just a few tips to make your 2010 shows run alittle smoother. We all love winning and nothing would make me and the judges more happier if you perpare your self for success!

First of all when arriving at the shows please pick out your spot unload all your gear. Please after unloading find a proper place to park your car. It never fails, about 1/4 ways into the show it has to come to a stand still. Why to ask people to please move your car off the...

YAY!!! Bodacious Is Now A Therapy Dog

Bodacious is now a certified Therapy Dog! Today at around 6:00 pm EST, she passed her test.

She is following in her POPs pawprints... the family business, so to speak of being a "DR. Dog/Therapist". I'm so proud of her!!!!

She is the 4th one of my Patch O' Pits to be certified.
Maybe I need to change my name to Ther O' Pits.
Touche' will be working towards hers next!

I know this has been asked a million times and most will say 8 weeks. But I have seen breeders pick their keeper out of a litter as young as 4 weeks. I will admit most of the dogs I have gotten from other breeders ( with the exception of one) were picked by the breeders based on what I told them I wanted. I ofcoarse picked my own out of my litter and picked Vito out of his litter. I actually switched my pick a week before Vito was to be shipped to me because they changed THAT much between 7...

Faults: Legs not moving on the same plane; legs over reaching; legs crossing over in front or rear; rear legs moving too close or touching; rolling; pacing; paddling; sidewinding; hackney action; pounding.

How many people have seen APBT's that actually move on the same plane? wether wide, converging, etc? It is VERY RARE these days. I see more hackney motion, and sometimes even pacing, LOTS of paddling, and some...

I only caught about 1-2 minutes of the show when I turned on the TV. I'm not sure where this was, but there were obviously 2 "featured" dogs for adoption that got onto a news segment. One was an APBT, Ginger. The other was a GSD mix. The Pitty was all over the news person, licking her to death. The GSD mix was a nice dog too, but a little nippy with hands and not nearly as outgoing. The GSD mix got adopted and the Pitty didn't, initially (she has been adopted now)....
