I have a couple, actually, that I'll share later on. But I wondered if there were others that had a story (or two or three LOL) to share?

I'd like to hear your favorite win you ever saw happen, that was not your own dog, related to yours maybe but no bred-bys or directly owned, please. Any
registry, breed, and even any type of event. All are welcome!

I loved to see Bryan win with Halo, because Tammy would cry with joy and excitement every time. I found that to be so sweet. I will have more later

Awwwwwwwwwww!! T!! You're going to embarrass Tami, she hates that!
Me, well I need more information. (Because it's Tami! I know she cries! Always thought that was 100% adorable!) Looking forward to a couple of those bawlin-win records typed out, personally!
But yes, feel free to think long and hard, everybody. And don't forget to type it up! Some good reading there I'm thinking. |

I saw two of the biggest trash talkers I know go at it in VA Beach a few years ago. Loser bought lunch. It was fun to listen to the trash talk then see what
unfolded in the ring.

I know you said no our dogs but.
My fav. win to have watched was Neo taking the Natl gr title and my husband crying in the ring. LOL. He worked so hard with his dog to get him where he was and to see him win that big class was AWESOME. lol. I love to see any wins where the owner is truely excited ... I think many of the wins we see these days the owners are happy but not excited. American Staffordshire Terrier and

I agree with T. It got to the point where if one of her dogs was in the ring we would merely watch Tami to see if that dog won or not.

Well,
I remember a big chesterfield show weekend in 2006. There were four or five top ten dogs one being from cali and a host of other great dogs in the line up. There was an exhibitor from cali that was working on a honorable judge R.B, pretty much throwing herself on him the day before the show, trying to secure a win, that she thought was in the bag. Someone caught wind of this Malay and went to the event manager, with out her knowing. The judge was talked to before he went in to the ring, when the Grand class went in, he gave a big speech about picking the best dog, the Cali person swear she had this win in her pocket. The judge ask for the last go around and he screams out I am looking for the best top line, she knew she had the win. He goes to point at the winner and she raise her hand in victory until her dog wasnt the winner it was Halo, it was a priceless moment. And the loser walks out the ring talking $#%#. That was the greats win I think I had saw in 2006.

OMG T and Kim!! My face is all red over here lol. But NO I am not crying (at least not right now lol.)
I can admit it I do cry when my dogs win and I am standing outside the ring waiting with anticipation. Which is partly why in win photos you seldom see me in them because I end up all tear streaked and red from being so happy! I truly am excited and happy everytime one of our dogs wins. I have been doing better about not crying in the ring when I am showing though. But that is a very recent thing lol I still get very emotional when one of my dogs wins, I can't help it, sometimes I wish I could, but I truly can't. Now if you saw me showing Case here recently (or make that ever lol). I don't cry with him if he wins, I am usually too busy laughing my butt off at the wagging fool, or trying to hold him still or his tail still so judges don't get whacked in the head repeatedly while they are going over him, or apologizing if they do get whacked repeatedly. I wish someone had the video of Case in the ring it would be fun to see what others see him doing, in the ring I am just hanging on for the ride LOL. So T and Kim while I am embarrassed it's all good, cause it's true I do cry, and I do cry because I am happy and so very excited for my dogs. They say money won't make you happy but something tells me that being broke won't either. If going crazy is a race then I don't want to win.

Tami I think that's why it's so cool to be watched by others. Because you really do know sportsmanship, and it's special to you when your dog does
pull it off. Because you know your dogs are worthy but also that that doesn't always matter and when you win anyways....well what a sweet treat.
Just my take, anyways.
T, big thanks for that run down. Bet I could even name the situation more than typed! SWEET WIN.
So far some great answers. Thanks, folks!! Keep them coming, please!!! I will share one for now. It was the day that Scott Grimes had the super-butt-head Doc (by that I mean a very happy animal LOL) in the classes in Lakeland not too long ago before he finished. (July of '06 I think??). Judge Carlos Rodriguez had quite a few APBTs to go through (I believe around 35-40) and Scott & Doc not only got Best Male, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed (from the classes in a large showing!!) but also got Group 1 and BIMBS. I was so excited to watch that happen, it was to me a huge win, goosebumps worthy, to see Scott & Christi---unashamed that they are my local favorites haha--win, but also to win with a bred by, red nose, who also happened to be a well put together dog, with zero political play. BIMBS from the CLASSES in a huge entry including at least 3 then current Top Ten dogs....did I mention that??
That to me is still one of my most favorite wins that I watched happen, hands down. |

Jenn, I remember that win also, it was a good win. I think he beat Bell for Breed if i am not mistaking.

Hmmmm....T....I don't recall him beating Bell? Because I thought you were only "beat" once for breed when you were in the ring for it the whole
weekend, and I swear you left early Sunday. I could be wrong of course! I just remember thinking "Oh good, Elvis has left the building" LMAO. But I
know you didn't make show 1 Saturday because I thanked you for it (
) and maybe that's what I'm recalling.
Either way, beating the gorgeous Belle would make that win sweeter to me, because I know how nice that bitch is and how nice her and "her handler" look in the ring....those jerks.

Yep! One whole time! LOL! Dangit not only granded that weekend, and took breed under Walt Pasko ONCE over Bell, but she got a Group 2 under him. The win I
thanked you for not showing up for was her CH/BOB/BIMBS under Proctor for the Sat show you (thankfully) missed.

Tomahawkkennels wrote: The very first time I met Bryan and Tami was one of the many times Bryan won with Halo and yes she did cry and it was contagious. Seeing tears always brings them on for myself, but they were happy tears which are always the BEST. I'm gonna have to think hard about this questions though, I've seen quite a few nice wins.

I know and I also see here there are a couple that have posted their own dogs..Kelly,etc.
This is very very SPECIALbecause as far as I know under the same circumstances, it HAS NEVER BEEN DONE!!! We were at the Portland shows,SPECIALTIES etc. January 2006. I took Lucky and a 12 month old class bitch that had only been to a match and 1 show. A friend,Becky Dickerson took her in the ring and she IS NO PROFESSIONAL HANDLER!! Just another breeder owner. Anyway, there was the # 1 and current # 1 amstaff ranked in AKC,the # 3 at the time amstaff Lucky and a host of others and handlers all over the joint doing what they do. When the somke cleared DIVA,BISS Parastone's Dutch Treat on her 1st birthday took breed over all the big timers!!! Those of you that know me know nothing surprises me after 11 years of being in the ring. THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST WIN EVER for me and I wasn't on her nor was any handler, etc. It has never been done undr those circumstances before so you can imagine, even a mean old man like me was nice for a day!! I think I would have to say at the 06 NATL Day show in Denton, TX. Gary Stephens mad a cut from a large GRCH class, he then made another cut, and brought back
in his male cut and female cut. It was Kenny and Stephanie.( I think Kenny) He was moving them, round and round. He pointed to his winner, and Steph didn't
see him. She just kept going! Someone finally said it's you, you won. She then said" Me? Me? I won?" It was cute, she had no clue she just won
the NATL GRCH title!! Once she did, of course the tears flowed!!
A close second was seeing Apryl at last years NATL show!! That was a special scene, for sure!! Congrats again to both you ladies!! What NICE wins!!!

Hey T I remember this. I sure was glad I was not in the grand class that weekend..LOL. Crazy stuff goin down! I know Jenn said not to post our own wins but MY most memoriable with one of my dogs was when I finally earned Jewels grand title. It only took me a year and a half and 13 reserves..LMAO. I finally said enough and it was my last weekend showing her. So when the judge pointed to me I literally jumped straight up in the air and screamed also we were in a smaller building so everyone was watching teh APBTs being judged. Everyone was clapping and yelling just because they knew how long I had been showing that bitch...LOL. |
