I just don't get this....if you "threw" one of my dogs in a room with kids, the kids would end up with slobber all over.
This idiot should be thrown in a pit with lions or something....moron. What kind of person gets joy out of the suffering and misfortune of others? Just because you think people are talking about you, doesn't make it so....it just means your paranoid! |

T.... IT'S NEVER GOING TO STOP!!! Remember that society today lives off of the negative. It's what sells and that's all the press wants is to make
money. In my short life on this earth I have only seen one really positive thing posted about our breed and that was just recently with the Michael Vick dog
that seems to be one more AWESOME dog.
The other reason it's never going to stop is there are so many irresponsible owners that think it's just COOL to have an aggressive dog. Well, news flash it's not. I see nothing wrong with having a dog with high drive or even high prey drive because I have one, but you have to know how to handle the dog or it turns into a media frenzy if the smallest of incidents ever occur. So in my own opinion which does not count for much... it will never stop. TIGHTEN UP!!!! |

Unfortunately the polititicians and people who make the laws punish you and I for this with BSL!!
The day they start to MAKE THE OWNER of this and othr tragic situations pay will be the beginning of these things becoming less of a problem. They need to make an example of some of these people. |

I totally agree. The government has had more than one chance to do this and have failed to do so. Michael Vick gets less time than the ordinary man because
why??? He is Michael Vick? Who gives a rat's patooty who he is. He did awful things with the animals he owned and was just slapped on the hand if you ask
me.
On the other hand a man and his friend in Alabama were convicted and sentenced to over 90 years for the same thing. Of course the magnitude was a little higher considering this guy had over 90 guys or something stupid like that , but it's still the principle. I say get another dog that is just as viscious as there's was and turn it loose on the offender.
TIGHTEN UP!!!! |

As long as there are humans, and as long as there are dogs, it will not stop. Life moves on, and bad things happen. Its the media attention to everything
"pit bull" that makes me so incredulous.

There is no good in any of this but reading both articles and looking for something positive, the authorities charged both owners with assault holding them
accountable for their dogs actions which is a step in the right direction. In most instances the owners are not charged, the dogs are confiscated and put down
and maybe a small fine imposed upon the owner.
