In my opinion it would be nice to have some type of a noise go off when someone logs in, or when a new message is posted. I was hanging out in there tonight
and no one was logging in for a while, so I went back to the forums, then 20 minutes later went back to see if anyone was in the chat. Turns out I missed a
few people that attempted to chat with me because I was browsing the forum. So having a bell, bling, ching, chaching, chabling, shabam....whatever type of
noise would have been helpful for me in this situation (and most likely others in the future). Ya feel me?

Correct me if I am wrong here, but when you log into chat there is a little "noise on/noise off" button....make sure it's on before you go
traipsing around LOL.
As far as I know there is a noise to alert but you do have to turn it on, the default is off. Did you really say...."shabam"??

OK here is the thing about CHAT you have to have a GLOBAL ACCOUNT to use it. If your username ends in .Gaffboard you will NOT be able to get in there. This is
what was posted at the Classic Horror board:
Hi Gary, yes the long names not being able to enter chat is a recent bug, the developers are working on a fix. if people want, I can take the board name off their user name and turn their accounts into global accounts, it won't affect their post count. Anyone who wants to have this done, just ask them to submit a ticket and I'll be happy to do this so that they can chat. http://www.yuku.com/help/ticket They are manually changing the usernames to Global accounts for folks so just open a help ticket and they will fix it!
